@ocdtrekkie I mean, I get why most Patreons have the $1 option (to support when you don't have the cash), but it's practically meaningless in terms of what they get. $2 minimum would be better.
@ocdtrekkie or better yet, upgrade to Linux for free, umm, all the time? Unless you're paying for RHEL or something, the best linux desktops and servers are free, now and forever.
@ocdtrekkie Thunderbolt needs to die anyway. USB 3.1 is growing in speed and it has better compatibility (no guessing) and is far more universal than Thunderbolt. And it took until v3 for Intel to make Thunderbolt licenses free, but they're still locked behind Intel's wall (no AMD computers need apply). It's like Firewire, better specs, but poor implemenation and small selection of products that use it. USB-C is here to stay.
