It's a sad thing that cancelling HS2 is what has led to conversations that have helped a lot more people understand it and why it was needed
I'm personally struggling to see the fundamental difference between 'we 🇵🇱 gave you 🇺🇦 xyz tanks so you shouldn't be suing us over a grain dispute' and 'you 🇩🇪 gave us 🇵🇱 billions in EU funds but we're still demanding WWII reparations'. 🤷♂️
I'm not sure if Ukraine should be suing Poland or not but it's important to remember that, for all it's been through, Ukraine is a functioning state that has agency. Countries have trade disagreements all the time, even friendly ones. Let rule of law run its course.
Ryanair announce on their flights that passengers should only sit in their designated seats because seats have been allocated to balance weight on the aircraft. It's a Boeing 737 not a seaplane in Vanuatu. It's an obvious fib. There should be rules against making obvious fibs.
Until a few days ago if I put 'New Cross departures' or 'London Bridge departures' into Google I got the departures from those stations. Now it gives me ones for New Cross Gate and Beckenham Junction instead. I wonder what changed. 🤷♂️
Yes more of this please. An Elizabeth Line train in the originally proposed Network Southeast Crossrail livery for instance.
Starting to say the quiet part out loud
I know for their own domestic reasons, Johnson (general buffoonery) and Marin (Finnish electoral maneuverings) had to move on, but their vocal advocating for Ukraine is missed and has not been replaced.
