@ThoraiyaDyer @weezmgk thanks both I should have clarified (because you can't really tell from the photo) the tracks didn't seem to be either raised or recessed compared to their surroundings, just a different colour. So yeah all consistent with something eating a very thin layer of lichen or algae or whatever that has discoloured the rock.

Lions Head Pass (Kings tableland #bluemountains ) no idea what caused it. Could it be a fossil?

A Shining Bronze Cuckoo - these #birds spend winters in the islands to the north of Australia and come here in summer. This is the first time I have seen them in the #bluemountains

The leaves that look redder than the ones around it are mistletoe, a parasite that grows on gum trees and is spread by (and is an important food source for) native birds especially honeyeaters #bluemountains
