@carnage4life I think the issue is that his Dem opponent should have figured this out (sounds like all it would have taken was a basic pre-employment background check). Now maybe the media wouldn’t have given this traction even if it had been known, although there was a case of a GOP candidate in a GOP leaning district who lied about his combat experience and that got plenty of coverage, ultimately costing him his seat. So I think this is really about the Dems being incompetent.
@DWJensen @GregSargent is the new bill going to stop a scenario where the Republican majority in the house tries to throw out a state’s electors? I know the thread hold for sustaining an objection has been raised, but once it goes to the House and Senate to vote, do both chambers need to vote yes to adopt a slate of electors or can one chamber veto it?
@taylorlorenz Oceania was now at war with Eastasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia….
@carnage4life Did knowing your managers were following you change what you tweeted? I guess if you were having something go down at work it could be easy for colleagues to interpret/misinterpret your tweets as being about them…
@paulg I mean he did upend the lives of the thousands of Twitter employees he fired (and now may not pay severance to?) without having a serious plan for doing better. Seems like that deserves some ill wishes.
