I don’t understand half the things I read from software influencers these days. I feel like I’m being sold navel gazing for the benefit of one person’s career. Related, there’s now a gray in my beard.

The ARexx scripting language is fairly straightforward. It's odd that `PULL`, which reads from the terminal, automatically uppercases strings.

I wonder how popular ARexx was? It replaced Microsoft's AmigaBASIC in AmigaOS 2.0. It's definitely better than BASIC.

The PC text adventure games I wrote in middle school could have benefitted from a structured language.

The snow I’ve stepped on is the tastiest.
The sun broke through the clouds this afternoon for the first time in two weeks. The Great Lakes provide some of the cloudiest winters in the country. I nearly ran to our local park to go hike a trail.
