Bark Purdy in the finals of the puppy bowl..

Fred has an early lead (61% to Bark's 39%)

I heard Growl Newton (who didn't even play in this years puppy bowl) was out there trash talking Bark. Telling folks he's just a typical rescue puppy propped up by cute bandanas, a great photo, and catchy name.

My money is on Bark rallying late and overtaking Fred.

(p.s. to Cat Lovers.. It's not you, it's me. I don't hate cats.. I obsessively try to keep signal / noise ratio as high as possible)

Great blog post by @clive

The paragraph (screenshot) from the article perfectly summarizes my issue with self-driving cars.

Example: My Tesla put on the brakes when a gardener was blowing leaves on the sidewalk and moving in the direction of the street. AI couldn't tell the difference between that and a child chasing a ball.

That's just one of the times when my decades of life experience synthesize immediately to a decision about driving. The car's AI can't do that.

Just renewed my JetBrains Open Source development license for PyCharm Professional.

I can't tell you how impressed I am by their products, and how PyCharm has become a critical part of my development.

Thanks JetBrains

P.S. This might feel like an ad, but I assure you it's not. This is just pure developer love.
