Today I went to work, read Absolute Superman on my lunch break, fixed a major issue with an elevator at work, took some rad photos, listened to the new album from NFG, came home and had a beer, started reading All-Star Superman, hugged my wife, and hung out with my cat. Great fuckin' day.

After 12 years of my Kindle Paperwhite’s loyal service, I caved and upgraded to the Gen 12 Paperwhite. It was discounted and I’m frankly sick of the slow page turns when compared to reading on my iPad mini.
I held an iPhone Air at the Apple Store and it really does feel awesome in the hand. I could see Apple shaving off a bit more thickness when doubling them up for the folding iPhone and it will feel like an iPhone Pro.
The Apple TechWoven case for iPhone 17 is pretty nice. I went to the Apple Store to get a feel for it, the silicone case, and the Beats case and the TW really is the best. The Beats case also felt very nice, albeit a bit less-premium feeling and a bit more bulky, but it’s a close second.
Our house that we bought a few years ago doesn’t have a “yard” or grass (which I love…), but some neighbors chose to plant grass in their backyards. I always look forward to when they cut their grass because I love the smell of fresh-cut grass.
What a fun day for football… so far…
I upgraded from an Apple Watch Ultra 1 to the Ultra 3 and it’s really nice to have to have that super-long lasting, fresh battery and an always-on display that always shows the seconds, just like a real watch. The little things.
