✨ Grifter-free Fediverse Discovery

I'm putting a fresh coat of paint on the https://fediverse.info/explore/people directory!

It's an opt-in directory of fediverse accounts based on bio hashtags, to join simply add the #fedi22 tag to your bio and follow the directions on the directory page.

I'm also building an API so @pixelfed and other projects can build discovery/profile recommendations.

Feedback and boosts appreciated 😁 #fediverseInfo

Mastodon is like Twitter without pants. Where are my pants?
Mainly because I forget to intentionally crosspost. Some of the clients I use post to multiple instances.

This latest exodus from birbspace has got me a bunch of new follow requests here on The Big Instance.

however, my "home" is over at wandering.shop. I believe if you follow here or follow there it doesn't matter that much, but [email protected] doesn't post as much.

Followers (all like, 6 of you?), I may start using [email protected] rather than the prime, cuz that's kinda the point? No one else has to move, and I have imported my followING list, but if you still want to follow me, add that name to your list.
I really wish more people I knew where on here. Twitter seems to be going down a very dangerous, dystopian road.
If I understand this, Mastodon pretty much proved the point of its existence with the prime instance being unavailable last night. Seeing chatter about rehoming to others less populated. Considering wandering.shop, mastodon.club ... others?

The future of the web has got to be about taking ownership of our online spaces back.

No, not all places are awful of course, but ones that exploit our experience rather than supplement it have to be starved of the resource they need to survive.

And that resource is you. And how do we do that? By reclaiming our online personas and content instead of just giving it way because it's easier and/or popular.

Baked Trance Pie sounds perfect.
