Alternative acc, managed directly by me. I post my donation updates; my personal project of converting views into humanitarian donations. Interjections about personal life from my main acc are also retooted/retweeted/reposted, but sparingly.
Medium's mastodon server (the me.dm instance) has muted my posts, without apparent explanation.
Par for the course for large orgs to shelter abusers and prevent victims from at least airing out their felt emotions and grievances. Bear in mind, I have not publicly shown the names of my brother and mother; I have only harsh words for them here, because they don't know that I'm here. Medium mods just loves abusers, it seems.
I've been feeling very dark and down but my abusive family won't ever stop me from celebrating the 4 full reads I've had from mid-February!
Each full read contributed directly to my view-to-donation conversion. Since it's a unique milestone for my medium, I'm donating $1 for each read that I had received.
For this month, all $4 will reach the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

Hui Eza HengAnd I was right. Just as I was delighted to see that my own humanitarian project came to life, however small it was to donate, it was still mine. The king who ruled jointly with mother, had decided, in addition to leading a free life like a bird, going on late client meetings until 9pm. He comes back home to sneer and shrug at me. No doubt he wasn't happy there wasn't any food of his favorite (prawn) but who cares. I've promised myself that you are no longer family

For the entirety of August, I received 20 reads/views on my newest medium articles. It's a neat amount. I'm donating $0.20 for each view that I had received. In total, that's about $4. This month, I'm donating the total to the World Food Programme -- specifically Ukraine. You can view more of their work @ this link:
Till August 16th, I've received 4 views(incl. reads). Accordingly, I've donated 0.80 cents for each view that I received in any of my medium articles.

Save the arguments about building on other people's platforms for another time. Because for many, this is immediate, desperate, and is the difference between eating this week or not.

Regarding chess,I have also independently donated a sum to Lichess, in light of recent events that have happened there. For the record, I fully support Lichess and aim to continue enlisting my support as a patron INDEFINITELY. I've also cancelled my ChessCom membership renewal to further support them.

The best thing that have happened to me today was turning my total views into a humanitarian cause of my own. The rest made me incredibly uncomfortable.
Going forward, I'm going to fully ignore YouTube and IG recommendations, and I'll just focus on my writing to serve humanitarian needs. That, and reading Plotinus' latest entry on academic journals and Plotinus' own book, The Enneads.
