After performing a few FreeBSD installs, these are my personal notes of steps taken and choices made. A “short and sweet” version of the comprehensive install chapter of the FreeBSD Handbook. 
Of course the day I had planned to "do all the things" comes complete with loading errors no matter the connection....
I'd have a job, if anyone was hiring.
I'd complete what's needed in the meantime if there was a working network connection.
And talking to the folks at the county office, they wouldn't have it any other way. Like they passively want everyone to fail.

Is it me or did Reddit get weird recently?
I made a comment, not even a post. All it said was how much russian stuff has been being pushed lately. Not overall, just in the subreddit I was in, and a few as I scrolled by, as usual. Boom. Auto-perma-banned by a bot.
Meant more than I thought it would. That's fine, being banned. It's a website. But the... I don't know, the "why and how" seem bizarre and random.

At first glance:
