I officially started writing a book on Turbo Native! 🀩

I wrote the introduction and preamble on day 1. And the first chapter on day 2.

On day 3 I wrote two more chapters:

β€’ Overview of Turbo Native
β€’ Our first Turbo Native app

Crazy that I'm already at 7000 words. 😡

Attended @joemasilotti Turbo Native iOS workshop yesterday. Great pace and content, and opportunity to get clarification on some key concepts real time was priceless. Highly recommended! πŸ’―

@Analita no matter what you choose the first job is a nightmare to get. It is not about the stack.

Trust your judgement, and your enthusiasm. If you are not enthusiastic in writing in JS, interviews for JS jobs won’t go anywhere.

Unless you are financially required to choose fast, go with what you like.

And have you checked @joemasilotti website RailsDevs for your first job?

I'm excited to announce a new Turbo Native library. πŸ₯³

TurboNavigationController is a drop-in controller for iOS apps to handle common navigation flows.

Turbo Native apps require too much boilerplate for common flows. Code I've written 100 times. This aims to fix that.

And I'm going to livestream a demo tomorrow!

Come join as a I walk through the package, how to use and answer any questions about Turbo Native.

Come say hi! 3pm ET / 12pm PT πŸ‘‹

Episode 17 - Joe Masilotti

Joe Masilotti is, in many ways, the guy. Chances are you've heard of him you may just not know his name. He's the Turbo Native guy, the RailsDevs guy, the helping juniors get hired guy, the Hotwire newsletter guy, the all around nicest guy. Joe joins the show to talk about his various projects, why it's so important to build in public, and how doing less is helping him to do it all.

Turbo Native has a marketing problem. No one knows what apps are made with the framework!

I'm trying to fix that. Here are 6 businesses with a Turbo Native app in the App Store. And the native features they are using to make their apps feel awesome.
