Nothing is more infuriating when a user sees an error message. The error is clearly written and provides a simple to understand explanation as to what the problem is, but the user seeks your help with the error and offers, “I don't know what's wrong!”.
When the error message is something like, "You typed words into this field that has a period. You cannot have a period in your words.”
