Apparently, some person or group of persons threw these gorgeous kittens in a dumpster.

This may be one of the saddest things I have ever heard of anyone doing.

https://music.apple.com/au/album/requiem-in-d-minor-k-626-1-introitus-requiem/1452532320?i=1452532601 Mozart's Requiem is one of the things I listen to when I want peace of mind in the face of illness and death, which are inevitabilities. A close friend recently went through a near death experience during the same time as I have had Covid. Sometimes the tried and true Requiem Mass is the best way to recover from illness, shock and death. In particular Dies Irae allows a catharsis to overcome the shock of (for someone out there) everything being over so suddenly. The prayers are timeless, resulting as they do from the Missal and the Vulgate:
Rex tremendæ maiestatis,
Qui salvandos salvas gratis,
Salva me, fons pietatis. Recordare, Iesu pie,
Quod sum causa tuæ viæ:
Ne me perdas illa die.Quærens me, sedisti lassus:
Redemisti Crucem passus:
Tantus labor non sit cassus.

Well, it took a week for finals' results to trickle in but I can confirm my (brilliant) Mrs Cardwell has passed her Uni course with an H1 average. Well done to all those studying in 2022, and all the best for the future!
