Yanno, you’ve probably been on the job too damn long when you start recognizing the scam callers at the store trying to get you to load cards and give them the codes. Just got off the phone with Eric, one of the regular callers, after a nice chat. Apparently he’s calling from jail! Got another five years on his bit to go, which is harsh. But we got to talk a bit, gave him a break from the grind. Seems like a decent dude, actually.

So this is what I’ve been working on, the last few days since Inktober finished. Trying to work up a better version of the design before I start inking it. And I haven’t even started working up the outer knotwork borders for the legs.
I could spend hours a day, working on stuff like this.

#inktober Day 31. Guardian Beast of the Fire Temple, sadly killed in the Battle of Emridy Fields. And since the Champion who summoned him got dusted by an empowered Disintegrate spell, along with his amulet, this fella’s probably not coming back real soon. But don’t worry! Inktober Day 27. Each of the 4 Outer Temples has (or had, at least) a Guardian Beast, a warped elemental monstrosity summoned and controlled by an amulet wielded by the Temple’s foremost champion.
