Zeb LarsonAgain and again, people act like this technology is inevitable somehow, but it spits out absolute bullshit, is ludicrously expensive to operate, contributes to misinformation, and to fully utilize we would have to remake our whole power grid.
@errantscience One of the issues we had closing the campus for lockdown was millions of dollars worth of equipment that ran 24x7 and was out of warranty. If we turned it off, we didn't know if we would be able to turn it on again.

Not all supervisors follow this flow diagram, some just do the box in the right hand bottom corner

(It’s been suggested to me that maybe all it wants is to be left alone for a nap, which is very likely, OR maybe it's trying to warn us of some impending natural disaster? Like the entire Arctic ice cap melting? They know).
