It's just that mastodon.cloud doesn't feel like where the party is (and the party is on fosstodon.org??)
HAHAHA update, after using Shopify for 30 minutes I already find myself having to edit quirky HTML and if I'm just gonna be editing quirky HTML I'd rather it be my own stuff.
Proud that I decided to just use Shopify rather than build every component myself in Shiny (I tried building things entirely myself and then said fuck it)
I have a long running theory that "things that work less well are actually way more fun" and mastodon is a great example of this
