@adhdeanasl She’s good and has an aggressively deep mining analytical staff formed. This helps greatly as a younger member with tools analysts use other members roll eyes (to their own level of regret), but YES use the statistical modeling to get votes and make the ENTIRE body of HOR create average Joe wishlist bills. I love seeing AOC dunking on shitheads as much as the next guy, but can we please stop treating it as some kind of victory? It’s not. It’s just words. Bills becoming laws which protect vulnerable people, now those are worth celebrating. More of those, please. Otherwise, no matter how satisfying the clapback, it’s still just talk.

#CovidQuestion #masking #COVID Two vac (Pfizer), two boosts, based off Pfizer. Finally got it via work place return. Here’s questions: Who the F is in charge? I’m positive 13 days now. Still feel awful. I’m hearing “come in, viral load and N95 are probably fine”, “immunity with vax limits severity.” To anyone reading this PLEASE refer to any peer review article which tells me what to do. I DO NOT WANT TO PUT FOLKS AT RISK. I’m diabetic with daily insulin too. Help?

#returntowork #remotework #COVID19 Lucky me now gets to return 2-3 days (unspoken desire is daily). Exposed at a small conference room colleague lunch, now sick as dog. Is this (pictured) workplace REALLY worth $22 city parking (no stipend), office size of a prison cell, horrible filtration, some anti-vax, masks hit and miss. For this? Because the space holds a locked lease and somehow ants marching makes it all go away and is worth the physical cost?

#policereform #equality #inherentbias As a retired FBI agent (like police) we once relied upon our bureau car radio and self contained radio dispatch for road comms. Requesting through “10 codes” various needs, radio dispatch immediately searched internal and external sources (warrants and p-i-i names addresses). Day one to now, why are there #1 and #2 males (black-1 white-2)? Convince me this doesn’t raise possible inherent bias when 1 vs 2 male is radioed back. End it.

@BruceMirken #masking unfortunately,the 4,800 miles separating your once “sane” folks masking in large, but crowded places (markets, pharmacy, shopping areas, etc…) is also quickly diminishing here. I remain baffled by laziness, fatigue or ignorance over not wearing a mask! The equation is simple, I don’t want to get sick (Covid or otherwise) and endanger high risk individuals. Even if the protection is .28 effective, it’s measurable. Explain why masking isn’t a hereafter practice?

Until lately I've felt like my town --Hilo, #Hawaii -- had kept its sanity about #COVID19, with most people masked in crowded places like supermarkets. But the percentage of masks seems to be declining. 😬

They’re future outcomes fall into two categories based upon the larger collective, not just their base.
1. Dangerous for a fixed period of time, but for sure real time dangerous.
2. Asterisk of “what were we thinking” idolatry.
They are hurtful, but I’m an optimist and feel time (patience, as difficult as it may be) will smudge them like chalk marks and with an asterisk. Be well 🙂
