Installed a new 2.5gbe drop over Christmas break. Looking pretty good. The 2.5gb Ethernet to USB-C adapter came in today and it is amazing.

Today was “new monitor day” for me. A substantial upgrade from my Dell UltraSharp of 2018. I opted to go for the LG UltraFine 5k. Thanks to its power delivery, I was able to ditch my Dell docking station and three entire cables! Everything is far cleaner now and it is working great.

Got the Christmas tree up and looking good! 🎄

Demon squirrel was “barking” at me today from outside of my window. Very bizarre. I’ve never heard a squirrel do that before.

Went to the “Dark Forest” near Kansas City today. It’s an event that a local gardening / landscaping company hosts every Halloween. It was awesome.
