I think I might have my students help me shoot an experiment. A silent film that doesn’t feel silent.
I’m deaf but I have cochlear implants. I straddle both worlds. And yet I love the quiet. I’ll watch movies and series in silence. As a filmmaker and a teacher I know I’m missing out on a substantial part of the experience. I actually love sound design. But watching in silence just feels so “right” sometimes. Go figure.
Well, I did it. I downloaded my Twitter archive and disabled my account. I’m off.
