IIRC, Russia abolished serfdom in the middle of our Civil War

@Miz_Rosenberg My daughter lives in Berlin. This could be a problem.
RT @CrimeGirI: Listening to multiple screaming 999 calls in a murder case is more relaxing than two hours in soft play and I won’t be told otherwise

Fellow Americans: This is not good for Birmingham.

Also, Birmingham is really Warwickshire, but (a) don't get me started, and (b) don't try to pronounce either place name.

The Azaleas in Augusta are not thriving this year
Any American followers who understand this in its entirety, I salute you.

Dutch children's rhymes are weird

RT @kluizenares: Wat werd er vroeger tegen je gezegd, waarvan je nu denkt; WTF?
Ik begin;

"Heb je dorst? Dan ga je maar naar Jantje Worst, die heeft een hondje en plast voor 5ct in je mondje."

RT @dafishinabarrel: They beat up the Nazis to a stalemate, but then the FBI shows up and the Nazis have to dress in drag to avoid arrest. That's when one of the Nazis suddenly feels "comfortable with themselves" and realizes they are trans and joins a "Rocky Horror" theater group.

Interesting case out of the 11th Circuit. Arbitration award vacated after a remote hearing by video, where is appears that a witness affiliated with one party received text messages from that party's principal during cross-examination & conformed his answers to cross-examination to what the principal was telling him to say.

We do a lot of hearings virtually these days in the arbitration world. If this happened often, it would be a big problem. https://media.ca11.uscourts.gov/opinions/pub/files/202210214.pdf
