I wish my peers would stop posting BS graphs like this. It means nothing.

Specifically, these graphs of “gun deaths” masquerading as “gun crime” are deliberately deceptive to sell you a specific false narrative. That gun ownership leads to more death from crime.

But to measure that, you absolutely MUST include non-gun violent crime in your graph, which these do NOT.

Consider, if you will, the crime rate of New York City per 100k, 352, vs Cody WY, at 152 per 100k. Now look at the graph.
