@xanxa Oh. Well that's awkward. writing.exchange isn't accepting new users. :C
@kerryburnetty I'm guessing romance readers don't buy enough physical books to make it worth their while? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

@kerryburnetty lol oh no! I know my local bookstores def don’t have histfic sections. A-Z seems such an odd choice to me.

My Waterstones guy just said they don’t have a romance section. I am SHOOK.

@malherek What about it tipped you off?
@kerryburnetty I checked with a friend who works at Waterstones in Liverpool. The only fiction genres they don’t sort A-Z are crime, sci-fi and fantasy. (Although I would be shocked if they didn’t have a romance section and he just forgot to include it.) They sometimes do table displays for different genres.
@kerryburnetty I’ve only been at Waterstones Piccadilly and they had a historical fiction section. It was glorious.
@jonpainterphoto I was actually already using Toot! This is great! Thanks so much. A few severs I would be interested in following don't allow for non-members to creep their local servers, alas. Should work for my needs though. Thanks again!
@jonpainterphoto oh snap, that rules! Thanks so much!
@jonpainterphoto ok, you make it sound like that could work for me. I think it might. I'll look into it some more. Thanks!
@xanxa I figured I wouldn't want to migrate there since it might involve writers trying to sell their books to each other (hey, it happens in author groups all the time). I'm hoping someone from that instance will see and give some insight.
