Hey #histodons, how did you prepare for your PhD defense? I don't need slides but I'm not sure what else to do other than re-read the intro/conclusion and jot down some thoughts.

Today's tasks include writing the lit survey on the history of privacy in the US, which I have been avoiding for years because it sounds hard. Anyone know of a good recent review essay? #histodons #privacy

I finally bought a bike last week! Waiting for my lock to arrive today, just in time for a scrap of warm weather. Any suggestions for good Bike Stuff to consider? Are those back racks worthwhile? What about kid seats?

For dissertation-chapter or article-length pieces, do other #histodons have a default spot for historiography or lit review? What do you do when it feels like an awkward aside no matter where you put it?
