@siracusa two things that I’ve not heard anyone say about the Neo…and the shortage of Mac minis right now:
1: maybe Apple intends on moving the lower level Mini to be a Mini Neo
2: Also, macOS has been changed just enough to run on an A series chip, so what is stopping Apple from letting me plug in a USB-C monitor to my iPhone 17 Pro, use a Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad and have a portable Mac if I needed it? Maybe sell me a “macOS App” on the App Store to enable it? I’d pay good $!!!

@lisamelton Cos my rideshare-camera creates in/out videos of the car - ea 5 min. When I get home & DL to my mac, I decided to write a macOS app to concat them using ffmpeg8 then transfer them to my Synology so they're available in my Plex server for archiving/safety.
When they x-fer, the files are ~60gb/ea (one for concat'd in, and one for concat'd out). Then I backup all the origs to a backup dir. The copy of the concat'd files and orig's are SLOW! So I thought RSYNC!
