@andreab I'm happy with meshtastic as a way for family members communicating with one another.
The hardware is mature, and the software stack is where it needs to be to work: I'm happy to see it getting some polish now too.
@Kels_316 similar but different experience last week. I had an idea that required a custom clock made.
Turns out "clockmaker" means restorerer/repairer. None of them make clocks anymore, they just fiddle with the ones that their predecessors made.
