SRE @ Google Switzerland, he/him.

Agents don't behave like humans when they code.

They fork prod, test 3 indexes in parallel, compare results, delete the forks, report back - all in one conversation. They need different infrastructure.

So we built it.

@samwho @r @Netux yeah, if this was an rfc822/821 quiz it would be entirely different.

The whitespace stuff in 5322 got me big-time.

@gumnos @martenson @samwho also the world has moved on. This is RFC5322 addressing. ;)
@r @Netux @samwho I don't think it's that bad. The quiz talks about what's valid. Not what will actually work. :)
I scored 21/21 on https://e-mail.wtf and all I got was this lousy text to share on social media.

Email addresses are very simple, and you will score highly in this quiz.

@jaeger the worst is "it's okay, we'll start a little late because it's the first meeting of the day" - it might be your 9am meeting, but it's my 6pm meeting and every minute is a minute away from my family.
@andreab I found the meshtastic CLI tragically unreliable :( the solution was to run it 20 times to re-load all my settings.

@andreab I'm happy with meshtastic as a way for family members communicating with one another.

The hardware is mature, and the software stack is where it needs to be to work: I'm happy to see it getting some polish now too.

@Kels_316 similar but different experience last week. I had an idea that required a custom clock made.

Turns out "clockmaker" means restorerer/repairer. None of them make clocks anymore, they just fiddle with the ones that their predecessors made.
