Oops, The $14.2 million work on the reflecting pool didn't get rid of the scum & algae.

Transcript from October 19, 2022, deposition in the E. Jean Carroll case: Trump said,

“Well, sort of that’s what she said I did to her. She fainted with great emotion. She actually indicated that she loved it, okay? She said it was very sexy to be raped.”

"In the future days, which we seek to make secure, we look forward to a world founded upon four essential human freedoms.

The first is freedom of speech and expression--everywhere in the world.

The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way--everywhere in the world."

1/6 When he’s finally gone… I have a dream.

I dream of a country where federal agents no longer hide behind masks without visible badges, where they don’t draw weapons without cause, and where no American citizen is ever disappeared into an unmarked van. No child will ever again watch masked officers rip their father from their arms.

2/6 I dream of an America where no family is forced to beg strangers on GoFundMe to keep a loved one alive. Where life-saving medicine doesn’t cost a fortune, for-profit insurance companies can’t treat claim denials like quarterly bonuses, and an ambulance ride for a choking toddler doesn’t come with a $3,000 bill.

3/6 No child will sit hungry in a classroom while their parents scrape by on nothing. No single parent will have to choose between feeding their kids and keeping the lights on.

A single job should be enough—to afford safe childcare, put food on the table, take a sick day when needed, and still have something left at the end of the month.

4/6 No young American should drown in crushing debt simply for earning a degree. And no democracy should be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
5/6 I dream of campaigns powered by voters, not corporate cash, dark money, or billionaire checks. A nation where Citizens United is just a shameful footnote in the history books, where members of Congress answer to the people—not to lobbyists—and where public service is no longer a gateway to personal fortune.
6/6 That is the dream. Not utopia. Just basic decency. Just America, finally living up to its promise.
