I think it's very interesting that when the healthcare CEO was assassinated, it was a big blow up in media and large scale manhunt to find the person responsible and CEOs are protected class, this is TERRORISM!!!!!!
but then when an elected official is assassinated, and a manifesto is recovered making it very clear that it's politically motivated (by a right wing individual in a cop uniform), the media is suddenly very quiet. They report on Melissa Hortman's funeral, but not the efforts to find the person responsible, why that person was dressed as a cop and therefore allowed to get away by cops on the scene. No senators or governors are screaming on CNN about how this is terrorism and we must find the culprit and enact the death penalty.
