Re-sleyed and the first couple exercises completed. This is a learning project, and will become a tool holder for the studio.
I decided the doubleweave project was sleyed too close, so I cut it off and re-sleyed it wider, but skipped a dent so I have to re-re-sley half the warp. ARGH.
Ran out of daylight before the threading was completed, but the LED light strips I had ordered arrived, so I installed them and can complete tonight. :-)
I finally have one loom in working order and ready to warp. (The more recently acquired loom which is closer to the window).
Just need to put together the new warping valet and beam the warp I have ready. I’m going to work through Jennifer Moore’s Doubleweave learning project for four and for eight shafts.
