What technological barrier is keeping my health insurance card from having a barcode on it? Why is someone scanning both sides of this card every time I go to the doctor when only one side has unique data? Why doesn’t the biggest health system on the east coast not know the phone number of the largest insurer on the east coast, and why is it my responsibility to enter it?!?
Drip rails on the ‘76 F-100 were rusted all the way through, so I cut them off inch by inch and welded the seam. It left a pretty unsightly, inconsistent gap so I welded 1/8” drill rod to the door lip and after some tuning I have a 1/4” panel gap. Not bad. One more side to go!

This anecdote is a microcosm of why the left has such a hard time getting anything done. Even after gathering en masse for a specific reason, they start splintering into cause factions almost immediately.
