Has anyone else noticed BestBuy doing what K-B Toys got sued over back in the 90s? They’re claiming the current price is a discount from a totally made up full price.

This SSD has never sold for more than $400. The manufacturers advertised full price is $500.

Also, if you try to price match they’ll tell you no because you already got a $231 discount. This is further proof they’re treating that “comp value” as full price.

I can’t figure out if ad targeting on X is just broken or if they have so few advertisers that they can’t afford to do any segmentation. I see so many random ads that I am clearly not the audience for, like this one.

I made this custom Xbox in a PC case like 20 years ago so I could dual boot and not get banned from Xbox Live. The switch on the front controls whether or not the mod chip is enabled and which hard drive is active. I can’t believe it still works after sitting in storage for so long.

I never really got that into Pokémon but I couldn’t resist this cart I found on eBay. It’s a Japanese Pokémon Crystal that’s been converted to a flash cart. The US version of the game doesn’t have the crest on the back.
