Had a pair of beauties arrive to our yard moth light setup last night. The big fella is a Dynastes tityus (Eastern Hercules Beetle) and the moth is a Prolimacodes badia
(Skiff Moth). The beetle sounded like a rock crashing to the ground as it came careening in.
