Making a note of this for some upcoming presentations. Thank you!
The article structure seems… pretty slop-like.
This mischaracterisation really struck me during the coverage and commentary of the recent “AI blogged about my rejection” as if that weren’t something prompted by a human for.
I’ve seen people mention headlines that memory producers are intentionally not increasing production in order to not have a post-bubble glut - but also found at least one headline suggesting that they were in fact planning new factories, so… Who knows.
Do you find there to be a split second of delay when you switch to it before it’ll respond to pressing things? Unsure if I’m going mad, or holding it wrong, or something.
If anyone has a link to a high bitrate (or high quality) version of the show (better than YouTube, which doesn’t seem to be dealing with the fast movement as well as I’d like), please let me know!
I’ll just blanket say anything by Zachtronics and Inkle would be excellent. I think Zachtronics even used to have a way for schools to license their games out for free?
Happily, one of the answers I just saw suggests that the SSD and RAM are easily user upgradable.
Ooh, I’d assumed the RAM would be soldered/integrated with the SOC, but looking at the FAQ you’re completely right! That would be a neat option…
When did they do this before, to make it a classic Valve move?
I don’t remember any of their other products being affected by global supply chain issues before.
