JoelleIf you're a news outlet who doesn't mention the possibility of transphobia as a reason an out trans girl was killed (or even that she was trans), but does mention trans status any time a trans person commits a crime, you are creating an enemy the public can't sympathize with, but only can see as a risk to themsleves.

Erin🏳️⚧️👩🚀🚀🌔So recently mom asked to play a bigger role in my transition. And to get more time with mom, yes, I said yes.
So this evening mom started sending me songs, pictures and links to aspects of her faith (hindu) about the balancing of energies between masculine and feminine, the female forms of the male gods and such.
She wanted to know what I read and looked up already, spent a lot of time teaching me how to say names correctly.
This was a good day.
