Do you know a dev whose website is broken because they use Twemoji on the default CDN? Do the internet a solid by telling them they need to update from twemoji@^14.0.2 to @twemoji/[email protected]. Seeing websites with tiny little broken emoji makes me sad.
oh, I guess I should've threaded these: https://macaw.social/@jdecked/109660240707060704

MaxCDN finally shut down and it broke Twemoji. It's unclear who has not just GitHub push access to fix it but also NPM publishing rights to publish the fixed package. Not my circus not my monkey, I guess, but it still sucks to see. Fork incoming when I'm not lying in bed still.

I've published an official fork of Twemoji on NPM as @twemoji/api. If you're looking for the parser, that's also now @twemoji/parser. I don't know what Twitter will do with the original Twemoji, but I don't want it to die, so I'll keep it alive.

alright team it's time to fire up the leetcode! I'm in a university for the day and have correspondingly caught a vibe.
It's worth noting that I don't believe in judging others' choices even if they're different from mine. It's only fair for employees to have all the information in making their choices – and, thanks to the intervention of the court, now they can. That's the bit that's great.
It seems like no one's posted the good news here yet so I'll do it: the judge ruled in our favor on our protective order in Cornet v Twitter! This means that Twitter is compelled to include a notice of ongoing litigation when distributing severance packages with releases of claims. A win for employees' rights! 💪
