Happy Birthday @umbraco, as it's been 19 years since the first release of the open sourced CMS. YouTube also turned 19 just yesterday, so to celebrate I'm combining the two, with a video going right back to 2005 and taking a look at just how easy it is to get the new Umbraco 2 CMS up and running! #umbraco
With thanks to @lee for his archive, Bridget Jones, Microsoft and of course everyone who's contributed to Umbraco over the past 19 years. Here's to many more! #h5yr
Merry Christmas!
And a special thanks to my #UmbracoSecretSanta โฅ๐ I already have the gold brick on my keys ๐
On Day 2 of 24 Days In Umbraco, Simone (https://twitter.com/simonech) has written โDissecting a little-known feature of Umbraco: Runtime modesโ โ have a look at https://24days.in/umbraco-cms/
@sebastiaan I'm loving my pi 5! It's currently powering a modded Minecraft server ๐
I've been meaning to write a blog post about my experience building an Umbraco 12 docker image for the pi. Nice to see another pi-powered Umbraco site!
My second #Umbraco package, Umbraco.Community.SimpleContentApps, is another simplified (and opinionated) take on extending the backoffice.
Content Apps can be super powerful but sometimes you just want to put something together quickly.

This summer I released my first Umbraco package, Umbraco.Community.SimpleDashboards.
A simple (and opinionated) way to get custom dashboards working in #Umbraco 10+
