My favorite thing about lava lamps is the initial towers that form shortly after they are turned on. Watching these bubble up, then slowly melt… pure joy.

Truth in advertising? Too soon?

When you live in a town with a building (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright) full of odd angles it's best to photograph it from an odd angle. This photo was taken from the sidewalk outside the building and specifically not corrected for perspective as I thought the taper accented the strange shapes the building employees to catch your attention.

Was able to get away for a few days to relax at end of year. I think this will work.

For 13 years now one of these turtles has been occasionally hanging out on my desk, lying on his back, with his junk hanging out. Why is this still a thing?
