We interrupt this month's advent festivities to introduce... Leg Day. It's a weird new logic puzzle type I invented last week as a joke, but then I ended up making a couple, and a few folks made variants of it. So check it out and let me know what you think!

Leg Day

I had a silly idea for a new logic puzzle type called Leg Day. It's weird and unhinged, but I managed to make a couple of grids. Then, several community members riffed on the idea, so now I have a set of Leg Day puzzles and variants to share. Enjoy!

If you have a Remarkable or a Kindle Scribe, or another of those fancy schmancy e-ink tablets for note taking, I’m gonna give you some free Star Battle puzzles for your device. Been working on this new format for a few weeks, and they are pretty nice, on those devices.

When you’re in the Dentist’s office, and the guy next to you says “What are those, *Sudoku*?” you can say, witheringly, “No no no, they are *Star Battles*”

It’s not that complicated. I just want to be able to type :-) without it getting converted into an emoji and I want to be able to paste in a URL without it getting converted into a giant picture. I want control over the things I type, and maybe I want a time machine to the 90s, thank you very much.
