Hi!

I'm a hobbyist sysadmin and programmer. I love simple and sustainable technologies, tea, writing, and gardening. I'm a big fan of low-tech or analog solutions to life's problems.

I like to participate in and help build communities of like-minded people. I am happy to engage in good-faith discussions, but I strongly dislike exclusionary politics and people.

Spending my life with @feli

Just a quick note that I'm gonna be moving this account over to merveilles.town shortly :>

I'm doing it because I've really resonated with that community (pretty much since I've started using Fedi and especially recently) and I've decided that I want to make that place my "home" on Fedi.

This instance is great and I thank the admins for the time they've put into hosting and moderating it  I will still be following many many people over here of course :3

@feli He also doesn't live there anyways since the house is in such bad condition. He lives in the cottage at Rideau Hall.
Oops 😓

Apparently there were two likely unrelated and unintentional car crashes in Ottawa today

One into the front gates of parliament, and one into the fence that surrounds the prime minister's residence

They don't seem to have been malicious 🥴

I'm seeing more and more YouTube videos with references to Not Just Bikes' content. Even videos that are unrelated to public tranist and U.S. infrastructure improvement.

Good

Feli made really good bread again

(She says to say she's unhappy with it because it's like "boring sandwich bread" but she's wrong so )

Do you see what I see

🍅

Damn, I haven't used my TWSBI Vac700R since late March and it started writing straight away.

Good pen

Yeah my total server costs per year for jaderune stuff really did drop 1/3rd. Assuming netcup doesn't raise prices, that infra will cost $200/year instead of $300.
