@five yeah I was trying to picture a world with thousands of instances and the complexities of federating between them.
@parataxis you're right that's much simpler
what if you machine-specified CoCs so that different instances could auto-federate given compatible social norms 🤔

Paul Phillips@cemerick I wasn't comparing it to anywhere else, only saying I learned my lesson at twitter and I do not wish to invest time and energy into a platform which is advertising up front that they will go the way of twitter as soon as the mob gets loud enough.
@five @sixbitproxywax it will be interesting when SJ-heavy domains start blacklisting non-SJ domains. The tribal drama that results will be fun. exciting times.
