Software engineer, music dork. Fake it as a woodworker when nobody is looking.
@JasonPunyon Still my favorite profiling tool! Even ported it to Angular because I missed having it so much. You guys really crushed the tooling at SE ❤️
@kneath woah, steel beams as deck supports? I think I saw that a few years ago on a Build Show episode, but totally forgot about it since then. Very cool idea! That thing ain’t goin’ nowhere’s!
@kneath We’ve been dealing with the exact same thing this past week on our 2020 MY. Pretty disappointing to say the least. Not to mention that I really don’t like how it handles in the snow.
@Nick_Craver I still found myself needing to change the tires on my Model Y far more frequently than usual though. And these are the standard 19” wheels… Probably my least favorite aspect of the car.
After our flight from Catania tomorrow was cancelled during dinner tonight, we've now booked trains from Taormina to Messina, then Messina to Palermo, where we fly to Nice then back to Gatwick. Obviously the flights are expensive - but the 12 minute taxi ride from the hotel to the station early in the morning is going to be more expensive than the 4 hours of train ride to Palermo. Yikes.
First time using an engine hoist didn’t _quite_ go as intended.
You are not immune to propaganda. Fact check as much as you can, even if the results are things that align to your worldview, even if someone sounds verifiable, even if there is an emotional element and you don't want to feel like the "bad guy" for even thinking that they may be wrong. Fact check things as much as you can.
edit: fixed pretty bad connotation
@akhansari @maartenballiauw wow, I hadn’t caught this one. Looks incredible, thanks for sharing!
@madelena But nonetheless, crazy impressive work wrangling all that yaml!

@madelena thank you for sharing! I actually based my own dashboard entirely off of your previous contribution, and it looks marvelous. Whenever I show it to others they immediately ask how it was built.

Interestingly enough, I had to stop using it on my iPhone because of a weird Safari performance issue with scrolling. I tried to diagnose it for quite a while, but couldn’t quite pin it down (you’d see crazy page thrashing as soon as you’d use you’d scroll — same on desktop).
