Act I: Chaos takes his ball to the river
Act II: Chaos learns that shallow NC rivers don't freeze over
Act III: Chaos extracts himself from the river, and having survived - runs around like... chaos... all across 5 acres of frozen tundra until... chaos contained and warmed
Act IV: Dad retrieves ball - almost but not quite falls into the river himself
Act V: Chaos reunited with ball. Continued chaos
Obligatory note - that spike in the midst of the T-Mobile squirrel attack was me downloading Ryan Coogler's Sinners to watch for the second time after the first - in the same day

Also:
Following up on that #orangecountync email notice - the county sent out another email notice of a second closed meeting on February 3, prior to the regular board business meeting.
This email has more specific references to the NC General Statutes of why a meeting can be closed.
It does seem like that there still will be some Orange County NC related news coming related to at least two closed meetings... after February 3rd.
Interesting: #orangecountync sent out this email notice to the Board of Commissioners notification list this afternoon around 2pm (The list gets county board meeting announcements, public notices regarding the board, that sort of thing)
The Board is in an emergency closed session tonight, which is a bit unusual in my memory.
Guessing there will be some County-related news coming soon 🤷
