Before you connect to that free Wi-Fi at the café or airport, think twice!

Public Wi-Fi networks are a hacker’s playground. Anyone on the same network can potentially intercept your data, including passwords, messages, and even bank details.

This kind of attack is called a “man in the middle” attack, and it doesn’t require advanced skills to pull off.

If you must use public Wi-Fi, avoid logging into sensitive accounts, and always use a trusted VPN to encrypt your connection.
