I don’t know what you mean by flop, MK1 had a very successful launch on the intended platforms imo. The switch was outdated in hardware even back when it was launched, and should only be used to play Nintendo games.
Can’t believe people expected MK1 to play well on the switch

Servers don’t make that much. These days restaurants are asking their customers to tip and pay the servers for the extra rent costs.
That’s why you have to learn how to make derivations!
I don’t mind paying for apps, even for ones that are for a FOSS service.
I just don’t like the idea of an app that’s closed source for a FOSS service like Lemmy and requests an amount of money to remove ads.
I would rather send donations to FOSS Android clients for a FOSS service to further development…
