So I'm reading the graphic novel "More Weight" by Ben Wickey, based on the Salem witch trials. And this is one of those "you can't make this shit up" instances. One could sum things up as: A bunch of teenage girls are bored and decide to target a bunch of women. A bunch of old paranoid men believe them and proceed on the basis of circular arguments.
