@kjhealy I have a slightly less old Canon SD700is, which is the smallest and most adorable camera I’ve ever owned. Circa 2007. Still works with the original battery though I’m pretty sure it’s a fire hazard now.

@Livingmarble Google’s Nest Protect smoke alarms do this; they give you a heads-up with a friendly voice before sounding the alarm. Downside: Google might decide to just stop supporting them one day.
@CmdrTaco @mathowie the consumer line (AmpliFi Alien) handles device groups and schedules very easily, but it may not be an upgrade over what you already have. I don’t want to manage my network as a hobby so the Alien “just works”, is really fast, but no multi-gig WAN support which might be a dealbreaker. Just sitting here waiting for WiFi 7 I guess.
