I was driving a loaner 2023 Outback last week which is what led me to make this purchase for my car. I find the dongle is faster on my car than the built in wireless CarPlay was on the Outback, which is wild.
The only odd thing is the boot screen on the dongle. The UI is odd and the comma in my phone’s name breaks the UI. I could try the OTA update to the dongle, but haven’t yet.
In Sonoma, does Messages constantly pop up the little "syncing" banner below the messages list every time you do anything? I've seen this since the update and it's driving me wild.
I'm cackling every time I hit this button in updated Safari… Put on your business pants and open up a new business window!
Pretty happy with this iteration of action button shortcut. If sleep focus is active, I want the flashlight. Otherwise I want the camera. Works well and could be extensible for other focus modes if you match the right strings.
I'm really happy with how this slab bench turned out. It's been a long project over nights and weekends with the help of a three-year-old. Now we've got a great spot to take off shoes when coming inside!
We took a road trip this weekend and passed a billboard for this lovely establishment. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this, but I'm certain this is what most of the rest of the world thinks of the US. Big nope.
