JUSTICE LEAGUE #34. New creative change is the shot in the arm this A-list team book needed. Priest's take on DC’s power players energetic, but it gets... weird towards the end. DOOMSDAY CLOCK #1. Worlds-shattering DC event/actual sequel to WATCHMEN has A-grade debut. Johns and Frank definitely squirm in the boots they’re attempting to fill, but it works, even with a 12-panel page that spells out the issue’s pacing dilemmas. Now, a question remains: Why.
