accommodations i would have loved in school:
- reduced or no homework
- flexibility with making assignments more interesting to me
accommodations on offer in school (but only to people who had had assessments):
- more time on tests (which is not something i ever needed)
accommodations i could have used at work when i could still work:
- increased structure and deadlines
- increased communication as to what they were actually asking me to do
- increased feedback about my work
- ability to work from home
- reduced hours
accommodations suggested to me when i did the neurodivergent employability program (i'm sure they would consider themselves the gold standard) that left me more unemployable than before and yet are still not even available to a lot of people:
- we'll put you in a quiet room
- assistive technology dongles
- different light bulb

Israeli media reports that the country’s defense minister has outlined plans to pack hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into a closed zone of the Gaza Strip along the border with Egypt. It appears to be the latest version of plans by the Israeli government to maintain lasting control over the territory and relocate much of its population of some 2 million. Critics say that would amount to forcible displacement in violation of international law because Israel’s offensive and blockade have made Gaza largely uninhabitable. Israeli officials say the aim is to separate the civilian population from Hamas, which still controls parts of Gaza and holds dozens of hostages abducted in the Oct. 7 attack that triggered the war 21 months ago.
Most of the sources I've seen actually put the number closer to 1.7% of the population as intersex. But the point is still valid. Sex is not binary. Nor is gender.
To those who continue to insist that sex is binary, that intersex is an abnormality because it is relatively rare, would you also say that red hair is an abnormality? That green eyes are an abnormality?

there is pretty much nothing on offer for either of these things. it's only there for people with money to pay someone. if i could have a stipend to pay someone for those things it would improve my life a lot
and that is not even taking into account chronic physical illness which it would also help
