@democracydocket this is all really terrible, BUT I don’t think the outcome of elections would change, even if these measures were adopted (they really shouldn’t be). The get out the vote operation in AZ is so robust at this point…
I returned my mail in ballot on Election Day. Two people knocked on my door around 3pm asking me to go drop it off. When I said that I had, they said, “what time? Because you’re not showing on the list.” If the due date were Frid, we would drop off Fri.

@kingsley I like the idea that criminals go to jail when they commit a (serious) crime. Let’s start with those who steal nuclear secrets and keep them unsecured in publicly accessible locations. Put those people in jail!
@annecavicchi I mask, I’ve had two doses and one booster (no omicron booster yet)… I wash my hands and avoid crowds in confined, poorly-ventilated spaces… it’s really not that hard.

A friend who does work at military bases overseas talks about the gross levels of waste happening… rows and rows of Hummvees costing $100,000 each, not even being used. Who benefits? The contractors paid for these products-but do the American people? I would argue that we don’t benefit from much of our overseas presence.
