If you care about RSS at all, you’ve got to try this
Just realized you can mostly “fix” macOS Tahoe toolbars.
Switch toolbar style from “Icon Only” to “Icon and Text” and Liquid Glass stops invading your content.
Thank me later.
v1.27.0 is now available: ready for macOS Tahoe with a fresh new look and Foundation Models support.

Hi @caseyliss,
you mentioned on ATP two reasons for not using Messages in iCloud. One of them was that you didn’t like that it stores your encryption key on Apple’s servers. I care about it too and checked it out.
According to https://support.apple.com/en-us/102651, if you use ADP, your key will remain on your device. Footnote 9 explains what happens when you use standard protection and need to recover your data. The gist of it is: As long as you use ADP, the keys to your messages always stay on device.
@Iconfactory https://github.com/mas-cli/mas
brew install mas
PSA: Your friendly neighborhood developer likely worked hard this summer to bring their app to Tahoe. Unfortunately, the macOS App Store is buggy af and often fails to show available updates. Check for updates using the mas cli-tool.
Case in point: I had no idea @Iconfactory’s fantastic Wallaroo redesign had been out for five whole days—until I checked with the CLI today.
ICYMI, w/ @lorenzofb: Apple's latest iPhone security feature will make life much more difficult for spyware makers and the security vulnerabilities they rely on the most.
One exploit maker said this new security feature will raise the cost of developing and selling hacking tools for iPhones.
Apple launched a new security feature for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air designed to reduce the effect of memory corruption bugs, and in turn make spyware and zero-days more difficult to hack into iPhones.
